Salary Range: $140,000 to $160,000

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Talent Acquisition Manager will report directly to the Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition and will play a strategic role in building and leading the recruiting organization around five key tenets: operational excellence, candidate & manager experience, diversity, talent branding and metrics. This role will partner with the Senior Manager to lead a team of Talent Acquisition Partners and Coordinators and be responsible for supervising and mentoring team members.
SCOPE:
Work in partnership with the Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition to develop and execute recruitment strategies aligned with organizational goals.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and candidate experience.
Lead and manage various projects and programs
Guide and direct work in collaborating effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment against TA program objectives, to meet timelines and to stay within budget
Help architect and drive adoption of standard operating procedures across all TA operational and strategic initiatives
Develop service level agreements (SLAs) and other best practices to improve processes and increase recruitment output
Develop efficient hiring processes and ensure a high-level candidate and manager experience to continuously deliver quality candidates and meet hiring goals
Strong knowledge of full-cycle recruiting components, including direct-sourcing, behavioral & motivation-based interviewing, employment laws, salary trends, and relationship management
Serve as our subject matter expert on all processes within the TA team
Leverage data to define KPIs, measure productivity, and inform strategic decision making
Create an environment where there is shared ownership of hiring top talent to support achieving company-wide business objectives
Partner closely with hiring managers to thoroughly understand the needs of the business, be close to current and future hiring needs, and develop strategies to identify and attract quality candidates
Partner with Learning & Development team in the design and delivery of training programs to increase hiring effectiveness
Stay apprised of trends in Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion efforts as it relates to the workforce and our industry holistically
COMPLEXITY:
Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of the company.
Proactively stays current with all new laws and regulations impacting the recruiting function. Able to read and interpret policies, laws and regulations and leads the coordination efforts to implement all required changes.
DISCRETION:
Erroneous decisions or failure to achieve results will add to costs and may impact the short-term goals of the organization.
INTERACTION:
Regularly interacts with management at all levels, employees, and vendors.
Interactions frequently involve special skills, such as negotiating with management or candidates or attempting to influence senior level leaders regarding matters of significance to the organization.
Partner with Marketing & Communications to develop and execute on recruitment marketing strategies
SUPERVISION:
Manages the daily activities of the Talent Acquisition function.
Has Influence on control of planning, staffing, budgeting, managing expense priorities, and recommending and implementing changes to methods.
Coach and mentor members of the Talent Acquisition team
ABOUT YOU
Knowledge of full lifecycle recruiting components, including direct sourcing, behavioral & motivation-based interviewing, employment laws, salary trends, and relationship management
Ability to think globally and be sensitive/knowledgeable to local recruiting practices
Strong business acumen and understanding of how recruitment and workforce planning impact the overall organization
Ability to operate collaboratively and influence as a trusted partner
Comfortable with ambiguity, uncertainty, and a constantly evolving business landscape
Excellent organizational, planning, analytical, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to distill complex ideas into key messages
Ability to influence others on policies, practices, and procedure
Ability to handle sensitive and highly personal information daily and maintain confidentiality in a professional manner
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities as well as possession of any required licenses or certifications is qualifying.
Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent, Bachelor's degree preferred
Licensure/Certifications: N/A
Experience:
Ten (10) years of full-cycle recruiting experience in a fast growth corporate setting
Two (2) years of people management experience
Prior Construction experience, preferred
Experience leading diverse and matrix teams
Experience managing multiple initiatives on timelines while identifying and implementing continuous improvements in approach and design
Working knowledge of HR and recruiting systems
