Now Hiring: Entry-Level Maintenance Technician I

Location: Framingham, MA

Pay: $36.88/hr | Overtime Eligible

Schedule: Rotating 12-Hour Shifts | Every Other Sunday | Free Parking

Type: Contract with Possibility of Extension

We're hiring a Maintenance Technician I to assist with a wide range of hands-on facility operations-from HVAC and electrical work to confined space and lift operations. You'll gain exposure to high-tech systems, work in a fast-paced, regulated environment, and build real-world experience that opens doors.

What You'll Be Doing:

Support installation, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems

Work in cold rooms and specialized production spaces

Operate scissor lifts and boom lifts as needed

Assist with maintenance tasks involving LOTO, confined spaces, and hot work permits

Safely work around chemicals including glycol, IPA, Spor-Klenz, and refrigerants

Follow safety procedures and complete documentation in a regulated setting

Partner with experienced engineers and technicians on daily operations

Schedule Details:

Rotating 12-hour shifts with 2-3 days on, 2-3 days off , including every other Sunday

Shift patterns alternate between two workers (Worker #1 - Blue schedule | Worker #2 - Yellow schedule)

Day shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM , with occasional flexibility needed

Free onsite parking and potential for long-term extension

What You Bring:

1+ year of hands-on experience in commercial maintenance

Ability to work physically demanding shifts including ladder work and overhead tasks

Willingness to work in cold environments and around regulated chemicals

Strong attention to detail and safety

Previous experience in a 24/7 facility or GMP environment is a plus

Trade licenses or certifications are highly preferred but not required

Pay Details: $36.88 per hour
