Warehouse Associate

Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and organized inventory specialist to join our team. This role involves the receipt, packaging, and shipment of goods and equipment. You will be responsible for inventory management and logistics activities to ensure an adequate supply of materials for various departments, ultimately supporting manufacturing, service, product testing, and other operations.

Responsibilities

Properly move or disposition materials per company procedures by collaborating with other departments.

Update inventory control documents and ERP system as required.

Deliver products to the appropriate facility, inventory location, or departmental personnel.

Receive and inspect shipments of materials, equipment, or packages, confirming they meet ordered quantity and quality specifications.

Confirm accuracy of shipments and complete required documentation.

Manage in-house inventory levels for GMP and non-GMP materials and supplies to support demands and schedules while maintaining safety stock levels.

Schedule and prepare shipments by coordinating with other departments and facilities.

Label, package, and store all incoming and outgoing materials per product requirements and company procedures.

Assist in developing, improving, and maintaining policies, procedures, and material control systems used within the shipping, receiving, inventory control, and logistics functions of the organization.

Essential Skills

Experience in inventory, picking, material handling, shipping and receiving.

Minimum of 2 years experience in warehouse, inventory, shipping, and receiving.

Proficiency with forklift, RF scanner, and pallet jack.

Skills in order picking, packaging, and warehouse inventory management.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in receiving and warehouse operations.

Knowledge of inventory control and materials management.

Work Environment

Work in a climate-controlled warehouse and office environment. The schedule is first shift, Monday through Thursday for 9 hours and Friday for 4 hours, with a flexible start time between 5:00 am and 7:00 am. End time will be determined by your start time. Pay ranges between $24-25/hr, based upon experience.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $25.00/hr.
