Job Title: Senior AccountantJob Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing complex accounting tasks, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and supporting financial reporting and analysis. This role plays a critical part in maintaining the integrity of our financial records and providing insights that drive strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities

Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close processes.

Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial statements in accordance with GAAP/IFRS.

Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.

Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations.

Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting procedures.

Analyze financial data and trends to support business decisions.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Essential Skills

Expertise in accounting, general ledger, reconciliation, month-end processes, journal entries, reporting, and financial statements.

Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS and financial reporting standards.

Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

4+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate accounting environment.

Work Environment

This position is onsite, Monday through Friday, from 8am to 5pm. The work environment does not require overtime.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $40.00/hr.
