Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Eugene, Oregon. This Contract-to-ongoing position offers the opportunity to work within the construction industry, supporting essential financial operations. The role can be structured as part-time or ongoing depending on the scope of responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

Process and enter invoices promptly and accurately in QuickBooks Online.

Match credit card transactions to appropriate invoices and accounts.

Ensure proper coding of invoices and account entries to maintain organized records.

Conduct regular check runs and manage payment schedules.

Assist with collections and accounts receivable tasks as needed.

Set up and maintain billing processes to ensure timely invoicing.

Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies and improve workflow efficiencies.

Maintain compliance with company policies and financial regulations.

Provide support for additional financial tasks, including reporting and reconciliation.

Requirements - Proven experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable roles.

Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and other accounting software.

Strong skills in coding invoices and account entries.

Familiarity with check runs and payment processing.

Ability to handle collections and manage customer accounts effectively.

Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial documentation.

Effective communication skills to work collaboratively with team members.
