Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support operations within the Higher Education industry. Based in Dobbs Ferry, New York, this contract position offers an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will excel in managing schedules, handling communication tasks, and maintaining organizational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate and manage calendars, ensuring appointments and deadlines are organized and adhered to.

Answer inbound calls professionally, providing accurate information and directing calls to the appropriate departments.

Prepare and maintain records, documents, and files to ensure seamless access to information.

Support daily operational tasks, including correspondence and scheduling meetings.

Act as the primary point of contact for administrative inquiries, ensuring timely resolutions.

Assist with organizing events and activities, ensuring all logistical details are handled efficiently.

Monitor office supplies and place orders as needed to maintain inventory.

Maintain a high level of confidentiality when handling sensitive information.

Collaborate with team members to improve administrative processes and workflows. Requirements - Proven experience in administrative assistance or a similar role.

Strong proficiency in answering calls and managing communication channels.

Exceptional organizational skills, including calendar management and scheduling.

Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Proficiency in using standard office software and tools.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
