Our client, University of Michigan, is seeking a temporary Administrative Assistant to join their team. As an Administrative Assistant, you will be part of the administrative support team, providing essential assistance to a senior faculty member. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully with the organization's goals. This position starts in mid July, and will be ongoing for 4-8 weeks!

Job Title: Administrative Assistant

Location: Ann Arbor, MI

Pay Range: $25.00 - $30.00/hr - WEEKLY PAY!

Shift: 8:00am - 4:30pm; Monday - Friday

What's the Job?

Manage and triage the calendar for a senior faculty member, ensuring efficient scheduling of meetings and appointments.

Coordinate travel arrangements and itineraries, providing comprehensive support for all travel-related needs.

Assist with p-card reconciliation, ensuring accurate and timely processing of expenses.

Prepare meeting agendas and materials, facilitating smooth and productive meetings.

Provide high-level administrative support, leveraging familiarity with university procedures and systems.

What's Needed?

High School diploma or equivalent; higher education (Associates, Bachelors, or advanced degree) is preferred.

2-3 years of experience in a related role, and familiarity with university environments/ educational institutions is a strong asset.

Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage various administrative tasks effectively.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with faculty and staff.

Ability to navigate university procedures and provide exceptional administrative support.
