Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team on a contract basis. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of bookkeeping, ensuring financial accuracy and efficiency. Based in Pleasantville, New York, this position requires a proactive individual with strong expertise in QuickBooks and comprehensive accounting processes.

Responsibilities:

Manage all bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.

Perform regular bank reconciliations to maintain financial accuracy.

Utilize QuickBooks to track and manage financial data effectively.

Prepare financial reports and maintain organized records.

Ensure timely payment of invoices and proper handling of receivables.

Monitor and reconcile account balances to ensure accuracy.

Collaborate with stakeholders to address and resolve financial discrepancies.

Maintain compliance with applicable accounting standards and practices.

Support payroll functions when necessary. Requirements - Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or in a similar role.

Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software.

Strong knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

Expertise in performing bank reconciliations.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Ability to analyze and resolve financial discrepancies.

High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and stakeholders.
