Description We are looking for a detail-oriented and personable Receptionist to join our team on a contract basis in Norwalk, Connecticut. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, ensuring a welcoming and efficient environment. If you have excellent organizational skills and a friendly demeanor, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:

Greet visitors warmly and ensure they are directed to the appropriate person or department.

Answer incoming phone calls promptly and courteously, directing them as necessary.

Maintain a clean and organized reception area to create a positive first impression.

Manage and distribute incoming mail and packages to the appropriate recipients.

Provide basic information about the company and respond to general inquiries.

Coordinate visitor access and ensure compliance with security protocols.

Support administrative tasks such as filing, scheduling, and data entry as needed.

Handle any unexpected situations at the front desk with poise and professionalism. Requirements - Previous experience in a receptionist or front desk role is strongly preferred.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Proficiency in operating multi-line phone systems and other office equipment.

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Friendly and detail-oriented attitude with a focus on customer service.

Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
