Primary Function

The Truck Driver will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks with finished goods and/or raw materials and delivering them to our production plant from our warehouse (less than 10 miles).

Responsibilities

Responsible for loading and unloading box truck, using a forklift or manual pallet jack

Pick up finished goods at the manufacturing plant and deliver to the warehouse

Pick up raw material at the warehouse and deliver to the manufacturing plant (ten miles roundtrip)

Possibility for light assembly production work while waiting for load to be ready

Other duties may be assigned as needed

Regularly Scheduled Hours:1st Shift, Monday - Friday, 6 am to 2:30 pm, overtime as required

Qualifications

Valid Ohio Driver's License with a clean driving record

Experience driving a straight box truck (26 feet)

Must be willing to work overtime as needed

Employee must have good job performance and attendance.

Basic computer knowledge, including SAP.

Must be a self-starter, well organized, able to work both independently and as a team member, possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Education

High School Diploma or GED

Physical Requirements

Prolonged periods of sitting/standing and frequent bending and reaching.

The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds, and with assistance
