Job Title: Construction Contracts Manager

Job Description

The Site Construction Contracts Manager plays a critical role in supporting datacenter construction projects by managing the end-to-end contract lifecycle. This includes leading RFP processes, drafting and executing contracts, driving process improvements, and managing escalations.

Responsibilities

Lead the drafting, negotiation, and execution of construction contracts, including change orders and claims, ensuring alignment with internal policies and legal standards.

Participate in sourcing activities for contractors and suppliers.

Identify and implement improvements in contract cycle times, documentation standards, and escalation protocols. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows.

Act as a liaison between project teams, legal, and suppliers to ensure contract compliance and timely resolution of issues. Support onboarding and training of new project managers.

Lead resolution of contract-related escalations, including scope clarifications, pricing disputes, and performance issues. Ensure timely communication and documentation of outcomes.

Maintain accurate contract logs, enforce documentation standards, and support audit readiness through consistent recordkeeping.

Essential Skills

Strong knowledge of construction contract frameworks, such as Master Construction Contracts and Statements of Work.

Expertise in RFP development, bid evaluation, and supplier negotiations.

Familiarity with datacenter construction environments.

Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in business or related field preferred.

7+ years of experience preferred

Experience with SAP Ariba, construction contracts, and data center construction.

Strategic mindset, sense of urgency, ability to lead conversations and take initiative.

Driven, strategic, and able to lead projects.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $77.00/hr.
