Catalent's Kansas City facility is home to our Oral & Specialty Drug Delivery, Biologics Analytical Services and Clinical Supply Services businesses. The site provides a range of integrated services for oral solid dosage forms, from formulation development and analytical testing to clinical and commercial-scale manufacture. The Kansas City facility is a Center-of-Excellence for our Biologics Analytical Services business. Our talented team has over 25 years of experience providing analytical services for stand-alone and integrated biologics projects.
Catalent Pharma Solutions in Kansas City, MO is hiring a Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Operator IV. The Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Operator IV supports clinical trial projects through the packaging of clinical trial supplies; ensuring that all work is carried out in compliance with regulatory requirements, good manufacturing practices (cGMP) and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Operator IV's essential function is the operation of primary and secondary packaging equipment. Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Operator IV's will run bottle or blister production equipment in primary packaging. This position reports to the Production Supervisor and may accept tasks issued from Team Leads and Room Leads.
This is a full-time, hourly role. This is onsite. This position is a 2nd shift role, Monday - Friday, 2:30pm - 11:00pm.

The Role:
Must satisfactorily complete all requirements for Pharmaceutical Packaging Technician III
Ensure that during all packaging operations the site's safety, quality and compliance metrics are met or surpassed while meeting corporate and site standards and policies
Able to run Blister and/or Bottle equipment as an advanced operator and act as a technical specialist for changing over packaging equipment between batch records
Responsible for set-up and operations of non-portable production equipment and documents activities within the batch record or other portable equipment as needed
Must receive "sign off" of proficiency and maintain it in all required Blister and/or Bottle equipment
Interpret technical drawings to properly assess output packages for quality
Prepare, complete and correct documentation following GDP and in compliance with SOPs and cGMP
All other duties as assigned
The Candidate:
High School Diploma or equivalent is required
At least three years of Clinical Trial Packaging or related Manufacturing/Operations experience preferred
Successful completion of the Technician III training program required as well as demonstrated competency officially signed off on and certified in Blister and/or Bottle equipment
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
Ability to work in a team environment
Ability to work effectively under pressure to meet competing workplace demands while maintaining the highest level of quality in all work performed
Basic computer skills - including, but not limited to e-mail, Microsoft Word, Internet Explorer; Basic math skills
Individual may be required to sit, stand, walk regularly and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
