Job Summary
The SOE Finance and Account Manager will provide training and specialized, detail-oriented financial, accounting, and business services for the day-to-day financial and accounting operations that optimally support the mission and vision of the School of Education. This role is intended to transition and train the SOE Finance Team.

What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be
Financial and Business Services
Serve as the financial manager and point of contact for assigned funds (ie: DAICR budget allocations, fund 29s and 34s)
Serve as the point of contact for faculty and staff regarding university accounting, procurement and financial policies, processes and procedures.
Financial Management and tracking
Provide ongoing oversight of the financial operations, transactions and purchasing activity in the School of Education. Maintain proper controls, and manage financial activity ensuring it is in alignment with the strategic plan and stated financial goals of the school.
Training
Lead training and knowledge transfer efforts to transition key financial processes and responsibilities to the School of Education Finance Team, ensuring continuity of operations, clear documentation, and successful transition for team members.
What You Should Know
Maintain a part-time work schedule of 5 hours per week (12.5% FTE) to support priority transition tasks and provide continuity during the handoff of responsibilities. This is a remote position.
What We Can Offer
The starting pay for this position is $36 per hour.

What We Require
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Accounting, Business Administration, Public Administration, Social Sciences, or an accounting-related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
2+ years of supervisory or work-lead experience on the School of Education Finance Team.
5+ years progressively responsible experience in business administration, budget, or accounting.
