The National Accounts Manager is responsible for building, maintaining, and growing relationships with key National Accounts. The NAM will leverage existing relationships within SRS Building Products and work closely with internal sales professionals and operational team members to match customer objectives with SRS Building Products. With extreme focus on a specific set of defined National Accounts, the NAM will drive customer sales growth and retention year over year and position Heritage from being a supplier to an ongoing Trusted advisor. The NAM will spend majority of their time at customer locations within the assigned territory.ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESWe are all entrusted to provide "THE BEST & SAFEST" experience to our internal and external customers, treating each person with dignity and respect, and ensuring customer success by delivering meaningful value.Network with key customers to identify and address specific needs.Develop and maintain relationships with customers to ensure long-term success.Act as the liaison between customers and internal teams ensuring clients' requirements are met.Identify and attract prospective strategic customers and opportunities.Ensure brand consistency across the region.Negotiate pricing contracts and special promotions.Organize customer specific training.Collect and analyze sales data and trends.Maintain high customer satisfaction ratings, according to company standards.Liaise with Sales and Marketing departments to set and implement strategies for new products.Stay up to date with internal and external developments and suggest new ways to increase sales.Assume ownership of your territory, maintain a sense of urgency with a customer-centric focus, and be present at the customer's operational level.Leverage relationships and work alongside regional and local sales and operations teams.Navigate within SRS Building Products support team, assist with our Credit Team to keep accounts in good standing, and consistently promote SRS technologies..Update and communicate pricing and sales performance to customer, National Accounts Senior Director, and the local sales and operational teams.Attend SRS Building Products meetings, trade shows, industry association events and SRS and subsidiary brands' sponsored events.REQUIREMENTSTravel within the territory is required. 50-75% of the work week will be spent on the road meeting with customers, territory manager, branch managers, and vendor partners.Have a passion for being a business partner to our customer and give them the tools and products needed to increase their sales and earnings.Requires a person who is a self-starter and has great organization and communication skills.Have a valid driver's license, satisfactory driving record, and reliable transportation for travel in your territory.Authorized to work for any employer in the US without sponsorship for any length of time.Able to pass required pre-employment criminal, driving background check and drug test.EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE College degree preferred, but not required5+ years' experience in the landscape material distribution industry.Demonstrated experience of leading a high performing sales team is a plus.Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Internet, Word, and ExcelAbility to learn Agility operating software package.Must possess an entrepreneur spirit, be self-motivated, and enthusiastic about our business.Must have excellent customer service skills and attitude.Must be detailed oriented and possess excellent organizational and time management skills.Must be analytical and able to solve problems.
