Job Title: Administrative Assistant - Accounting (ND)

Job Summary: EMCOR Government Services has an opportunity for an Administrative Assistant in Herndon, VA

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Monitor vendor invoices for accuracy and timeliness

Ensure all costs for each work order are properly allocated (labor, materials, vendors)

Submit invoice requests for completed jobs to corporate billing department.

Use accounting software to check statuses of purchase orders and work orders.

Track and file projects.

Create purchase orders.

Supervise Administrative Assistant - Data Clerk in timekeeping, purchase order requesting, and vendor coordinating; provide proper training to same for coverage.

Qualifications:

Meticulous attention to detail while performing repetitive tasks.

Three (3) or more years of Office experience and data entry.

Familiarity with Microsoft Office.

Ability to @type up to 50wpm.

Strong working knowledge of purchase ordering and invoicing is beneficial.

Aptitude for understanding financial reports and extracting data.

Must have or be able to obtain a clearance of TS/with FS poly
