Job Title: Manufacturing Worker

Reports To: Production Supervisor / Plant Manager

Job Summary: The Manufacturing Worker is responsible for operating equipment, assembling products, and performing various tasks to ensure the efficient production of high-quality goods. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently according to standard operating procedures.

Assemble products or components according to work instructions, blueprints, or specifications.

Inspect parts and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.

Perform basic machine maintenance and report any malfunctions or safety hazards to the supervisor.

Package finished goods and prepare them for shipping or storage.

Keep work areas clean and organized to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.

Accurately complete production reports, logs, or other required documentation.

Follow all safety rules and company policies at all times.

Assist with inventory counts and material handling as needed.

Participate in training and cross-training to learn multiple tasks within the production process.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, or warehouse environment is a plus.

Ability to read and interpret work instructions, basic blueprints, or schematics.

Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand and power tools.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.

Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Good communication skills and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive tasks.

Willingness to work flexible hours, overtime, or shift work as required.

Working Conditions:

Work is performed in a manufacturing plant environment, which may include exposure to noise, dust, moving machinery, and varying temperatures.

Personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn as required.

May require standing, bending, and lifting throughout the shift.
