Job Title: Assistant Project ManagerJob Description

As an Assistant Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in developing detailed project plans, which include timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. You will coordinate with senior project managers to ensure all project activities are aligned with the overall project goals and objectives. Your role involves scheduling and organizing project meetings to keep all stakeholders informed and engaged. Regular communication with clients, subcontractors, and team members will be essential to ensure project requirements are understood and met. You will facilitate collaboration across departments, such as marketing, IT, and customer service, to ensure seamless project execution. Additionally, you will prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including schedules, budgets, contracts, and progress reports, ensuring accuracy and accessibility for all relevant stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Assist in developing detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.

Coordinate with senior project managers to ensure all project activities are aligned with project goals.

Schedule and organize project meetings, ensuring stakeholder involvement.

Maintain regular communication with clients, subcontractors, and team members.

Facilitate collaboration between departments to ensure seamless project execution.

Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.

Assist in the preparation of project closeout documents, including final reports and as-built drawings.

Manage project budgets, ensuring costs are controlled and within approved limits.

Track project expenses and provide regular budget updates to senior project managers.

Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement measures to optimize project budgets.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related experience

Basic understanding of construction processes and project management principles

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Project)

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges

Work Environment

The position requires 100% in-office presence, with work-from-home flexibility only in extenuating circumstances such as illness or doctor's appointments. You will be part of a supportive and collaborative work environment that offers opportunities for professional growth and development, as well as hands-on experience with a variety of construction projects.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $33.65 - $38.46/hr.
