What you'll do The Marketing Strategist is responsible for developing and executing data-driven marketing strategies that effectively support the strategic goals of the overall health system, individual service lines and other internal partners. The Marketing Strategist serves as the project owner and primary point of contact for marketing a wide variety of assigned internal clients and external vendors. As someone who enjoys both thinking creatively and analyzing data, and has a strong attention to detail, the Marketing Strategist leads cross-functional teams and works collaboratively with operational and executive leadership to identify priorities, implement plans, and track and analyze results ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget. They are curious and a quick learner who is knowledgeable about healthcare and marketing, stays up-to-date on current industry trends and best practices and applies this to delivering high-quality, results oriented marketing to our clients. Responsible for developing and executing data-driven service line, system-wide, and site-specific marketing strategies for Bassett Healthcare Network to achieve business metrics such as improved net patient revenue, new patients, improved alignment or growth of market share Conducts internal data and market data analysis to create recommendations for marketing strategies and conducts data collection, analysis and reporting of marketing efforts to optimize and determine effectiveness Serves as the first point of contact with internal stakeholders and service line leadership and project lead on assigned specialties Leads cross-functional teams of leaders, physicians, and other stakeholders through the marketing planning process and successful implementation of the plan Coordinates with internal resources and agencies to ensure deliverables are campaigns delivered on-time, under budget and meet the needs/expectations of the client Assess current market conditions and future trends, recommending strategies for leveraging opportunities Responsible for copywriting for a wide variety of media including but not limited to: digital marketing, social media, traditional advertising, radio, television, website development, paid research Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of network & regional programs and service lines in order to communicate effectively and develop strategies Provides support for special community events such as lectures, screenings and educational programs Performs similar or related duties as requested What we need from you Education: 4 Year/Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business or related field, required Experience: Minimum 3 years progressively responsible marketing experience including campaign development and execution, required Minimum 2 years experience with marketing data including analysis and reporting, required Minimum 3 years experience with strong writing skills, including experience with copywriting, required Proficiency with technology including Microsoft Office, project management software, and other commonly used platforms, required Healthcare experience, strongly preferred Experience in leading/managing projects, preferred Skills: Attention to Detail Computer Skills Creative Thinking Project Management/Planning Reading/Writing/Comprehension Physical Requirements: Sedentary Work - Exerting up to 10 lbs of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Pay Range Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
