Olsten Staffing is assisting a law office in Myrtle Beach, SC to find a Legal Assistant to join their team! The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a law office , with a strong background in office administration and bookkeeping . This position requires a detail-oriented, organized, and tech-savvy individual who can provide comprehensive support to the attorney and contribute to a collaborative, professional work environment. Responsibilities for this job include-

Provide essential secretarial and administrative support to the attorney

Draft, proofread, and prepare legal documents for filing

Manage office calendars, client communications, and case files

Perform bookkeeping tasks, including invoicing and tracking payments

Maintain organized records and ensure compliance with legal deadlines

Utilize advanced computer skills to manage documents, scheduling systems, and legal software

Operate efficiently as part of a small, dedicated team

Qualifications for this job include-

Minimum 5 years of experience working in a law office

Strong administrative and office management skills

Proficiency in legal document drafting and court filing procedures

Experience with bookkeeping and legal billing systems

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, legal software, and electronic filing systems

Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills

Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism

This position is Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:00pm and pay will start between $18.00-$20.00/hr. depending on experience.

Pay Details: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour
