Description: Join our team as an Electronics Engineering Associate Manager where you will be responsible for execution and prioritization of day-to-day operations, and leading a multifunctional team, consisting of software, hardware, RF, and systems integration and test engineers.
Location: This position does not support teleworking ; the selected candidate will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility in: Littleton CO and be expected to work in the office full-time.

What does this role look like?
Manage the research, design, development, testing and maintenance of a variety of electronic equipment and systems, including radar and radiation detection equipment; radio, television and other communications equipment and systems; circuitry components; analog and digital computers; and control and test equipment.
Key activities you will accomplish in this role:
Generation of executable plans, coordination of teams, establishment of team goals and objectives that align with the customer and leadership intentions.
Success is measured by the ability to plan, schedule and execute within the constraints of a high complex environment.
The role requires building up and maintain a high performing team that designs and delivers complex test systems within cost and schedule constraint.
Position requires high levels of coordination with Vehicle Systems and Integration Teams.
Assuring appropriate test, integration standards and processes are defined and followed.
Deliver EGSE in a timely fashion in support of program needs.
Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions.

Ensure staffing needs are met across the Line of Business. Work closely with the LOB to establish and maintain an accurate forecast of resource needs.
Manage employee performance: Set expectations, provide coaching and mentoring, provide tools and training, deliver informal and formal performance feedback.

Execution excellence: Process development, adherence, and data-driven continual improvement.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related engineering discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
Previous experience leading teams working with highly technical electrical and/or software systems.
Ability to support moderate travel
Must have an active DoD Top Secret clearance , thus you are a US Citizen .

Demonstrated leadership with ability to lead multi-functional teams to communicate and coordinate across multiple disciplines internal and external to the organization

Experience working in a fast-paced environment and keeping multiple top priorities moving forward
Experience leading large diversified teams of engineering and programmatic staff to execute ATLO on high value, high visibility projects.
Ability to multi-task, excellent communication skills, and full Spectrum Leadership (FSL) skills. Includes daily interaction with program top management on project status.

Ownership to develop, produce, deliver, troubleshoot, and sustain the GSE product lines throughout the products lifecycles, where the scope of the responsibility includes technical, cost, schedule, quality, and risk/opportunity management.
Understanding of program, functional, and process metrics including Earned Value Management (EVM). Previous experience as a CAM highly desired.
Previous experience executing and leading (either technically or functionally) Ground Support Equipment teams
Ability to support occasional 24/7 operations

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $104,500 - $184,115. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible.
