Job Title: Manufacturing AssociateJob Description

The Manufacturing Associate is responsible for the manufacture of therapeutic proteins (API) under cGMP conditions. Working on the 2nd shift from Monday to Thursday, 2PM to 12:30AM, with occasional work on Fridays, you will play a crucial role in executing process recipes, following written procedures (SOPs), monitoring equipment and processes, performing basic laboratory tasks, and conducting routine sanitization tasks to maintain facility and equipment. Training under close supervision, you will demonstrate aseptic technique in handling products and materials while attaining a basic understanding of cGMP compliance.

Responsibilities

Set up, operate equipment, and monitor production processes, including clean-in-place (CIP) and steam-in-place (SIP) operations.

Report production in written and electronic documents in accordance with GMPs and GDPs.

Review documentation as appropriate.

Attain qualification for all assigned tasks and maintain individual training plan.

Perform basic laboratory tasks, such as monitoring pH, conductivity, and testing product samples.

Perform material movements, transferring raw materials and chemicals into, out of, and across production areas.

Maintain facility and equipment through routine cleaning and sanitization, supporting 6S programs.

Engage in administrative tasks such as attending shift exchanges, meetings, sending/receiving emails, participating in projects, and performing other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

Understanding of API, pH, conductivity, and sampling.

Knowledge of sanitation procedures.

Familiarity with cGMP compliance.

Experience in setting up and operating equipment.

Ability to monitor production processes and report accurately.

Capability to perform basic laboratory tasks.

Proficiency in material movements and handling chemicals.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

High School Diploma or Equivalent is required; AS/BS preferred in a science-related discipline.

0-3 years of experience in a manufacturing setting.

Strong logic and decision-making abilities.

Excellent critical thinking skills.

Work Environment

The role operates in a laboratory setting on the 2nd shift from Monday to Thursday, 2PM to 12:30AM, with occasional work on Fridays. The environment requires adherence to safety protocols and standards for maintaining cleanliness and organization. Dress code aligns with standard laboratory attire.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $27.50/hr.
