Network Operations Service Area Manager

Overview

GovCIO is currently hiring for Network Operations Manager to support our client's contract needs. This position is located in the Washington, DC area and will be a hybrid remote position with some intermittent on-site work.

Responsibilities

Manage infrastructure team, oversee day to day O&M activities, work with your team on improvement projects and manage outage mitigation

Manage activities related to maintenance patching and/or upgrades and vulnerability mitigation

Work with PMO to forecast growth and project opportunities

Work closely with Govt network managers collaborating, reporting all related activities

Work closely with other technical service areas on escalated issues

May perform other duties, as assigned

Qualifications

Bachelor's with 12+ years (or commensurate experience)

Required Skills and Experience

Experience with Networking Technologies (Cisco, Nexus)

Experience with Cloud Services (AWS, Azure)

Experience with Firewalls (Azure, Cisco Secure)

Experience in Vulnerability Mitigation

Familiar with Microsoft Servers (2020, MECM)

Familiar with Red Hat 10

Familiar with VPN Technologies

Clearance Required: Must be able to obtain and maintain Public Trust

Posted Pay Range

The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Posted Salary Range

USD $125,000.00 - USD $145,000.00 /Yr.
