Job Description:

You will be part of the USPS Endpoint Technology Refresh Program Management Office (PMO) team by tracking project milestones around deployment and replacement of devices. You will be providing reports on planning schedules and tracking schedules of in-flight projects against their goals. You will actively support the development of timelines and presentations in support of management initiatives.
HOW A PMO MANAGER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
Endpoint Refresh PMO Manager will be supporting the program management and project execution activities required to accomplish the team's objectives. The following are examples of the project activities included but are not limited to the following:
Works as a consulting team member or an individual consultant providing objective advice.
Ability to drive projects and provide day-to-day direction to team members.
Seen as an expert in a functional domain (e.g., large-scale enterprise solutions, acquisition, industry, client, finance, organizational development, etc.).
Prepare and deliver presentations to colleagues, subordinates, commercial clients and government representatives at all levels of the organization from C-Suite to technical domains.
Assures the proper use of current or requested programming, testing and documentation techniques.
Produces and/or reviews documentation and reports reflecting knowledge of areas in enterprise computing, large scale enterprise deployments of software and adoption by the organization.
May have supervisory responsibilities.
Works with new, state-of-the-art technology new to the company and to the industry.
Serves as consultant to top management in long-range planning concerning new or projected areas of technological research and advancements.
Consult with management and customers regarding product feasibility and viability of network infrastructure plans and designs and includes emerging technology and product supportability into design and implementation.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Required Experience :
18+ years of experience or a master's with 16+ years of experience
Education:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field or equivalent experience
NOTE: If the resource does not have a relevant college degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience using Microsoft Office
ITIL Foundations

Developing comprehensive project plans

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust and successfully pass a thorough Government background screening process requiring the completion of detailed forms and fingerprinting
This position has a U.S. residency requirement. The USPS security clearance process requires the selected candidate to have resided in the U.S. (including U.S. Territories) for the last five years as follows: U.S. Citizens cannot have left the U.S. (including U.S. Territories) for longer than 6 months consecutively in the last 3 years (unless they meet certain exceptions). Non-U.S. Citizens cannot have left the U.S. (including U.S. Territories) for longer than 90 days consecutively in the last 3 years.

The likely salary range for this position is $139,001 - $188,059. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
