Robert Half has partnered with a growing scientific company based in Morrisville to assist them in hiring a Staff Accountant. This position requires someone that is bilingual in Korean and English. The ideal candidate will have a solid grasp of accounting principles and a commitment to accuracy, The Staff Accountant will be responsible for all aspects of the company's accounting, including AP, Journal Entry, bank account management, remittance, bookkeeping, and reporting. A bachelors degree in accounting or finance is preferred and SAP experience is a plus.

Responsibilities:

Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes to ensure accurate and timely payments and collections.

Perform bank reconciliations and maintain oversight of financial transactions to support accurate record-keeping.

Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and organizational policies.

Oversee general ledger activities, including maintaining accounts and ensuring proper classification of transactions.

Assist with month-end close processes, including preparing financial reports and reconciling accounts.

Monitor and manage bookkeeping tasks to maintain precise financial records.

Handle remittance processing and ensure timely and accurate financial settlements.

Utilize SAP software to perform accounting functions and generate necessary reports.

Collaborate with team members to support audits and other financial reviews as needed.

Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.

At least 2 years of experience in accounting roles requiring attention to detail.

Proficiency in accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and general ledger management.

Strong ability to perform bank reconciliations and prepare journal entries.

Experience with month-end close processes and financial reporting.

Fluency in both Korean and English, with excellent communication skills in both languages.

Familiarity with SAP or similar accounting software is highly desirable.

Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
