Job Title: Staff Accountant

Job Description:

Robert Half, a trusted leader in professional staffing solutions, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant with 0-3 years of experience to join a forward-thinking and dynamic organization. Key Responsibilities:

Assist with the preparation of financial statements in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of entries.

Prepare journal entries and assist with month-end and year-end closings.

Conduct account analyses and resolve discrepancies by collaborating with internal departments and external parties as needed.

Support accounts payable and accounts receivable operations, including vendor invoicing and collection activities.

Assist with internal and external audits by providing requested documentation and schedules.

Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency in accounting operations.

Monitor compliance with all accounting standards (e.g., GAAP) and company policies.

Requirements

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

0-3 years of relevant accounting or finance experience, including internships.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel; experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or SAP) is a plus.

Strong math skills and attention to detail.

Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

A proactive mindset and a willingness to learn and grow within the company.

Preferred Qualifications (Not Required):

Experience with ERP systems.

Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
