Job Title: Administrative AssistantJob Description

We are seeking a skilled Administrative Assistant to join the finance department of a local insurance company. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the credit and collections team and will be responsible for a variety of administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

Support the credit and collections team.

Conduct written and verbal communications with attorneys and auditors.

Answer and manage phone calls and emails.

Maintain files and manage databases.

Perform data entry and other clerical tasks.

Send out reminders to remit audits.

Essential Skills

Administrative support

Customer service

Data entry

Front desk management

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

1+ years of administrative experience

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Ability to perform Excel calculations

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Two years of equivalent work experience.

Attention to detail, self-motivation, professionalism, and strong organizational skills.

Ability to produce professional, grammatically correct, clear, and logical correspondences.

Computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn new programs.

Strong written and oral communication skills.

Knowledge of business math and principles.

Work Environment

This position is within the finance department and involves reporting to the Finance Lead. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8 am to 5 pm, with an early leave at 4 pm on Fridays. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
