The Role -
Amphenol Aerospace Operations is seeking aMaterials Planner (Plating)to work out of its state-of-the-art facility inSidney, NY.
TheMaterials Planner (Plating)will manage the complete materials control function for plating and other sub-assembly levels including capacity planning, work center loading, and materials requirement planning. Will be responsible for monitoring both department and overall plant cycle time as it relates to plating. Will need to communicate with department supervision and engineering to ensure efficient flow of materials.
The key responsibilities of theMaterials Planner (Plating)include, but are not limited to:
Coordinate activities of planning, purchasing, and manufacturing to support assigned planning buckets
Evaluate capacity requirements and execute to plan; schedule, prioritize, and follow WIP
Perform related clerical duties such as log-in/out of production contracts and work order releases
Responsible for the integrity of front sheets, prints, and engineering changes on the floor
Make recommendations for improving production flow and operating efficiency
Coordinate QD510 entries and workflow; manage multiple planning reports daily
Salary: $50,000 - $70,000

The Person -
The key skills and qualities of aMaterials Planner (Plating)at Amphenol Aerospace Operations:
Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or related field OR High school education plus 4-6 years related experience in the Materials Department, or equivalent education/ work experience
Working knowledge of Data 3 preferred
Excellent interpersonal skills and adept at both oral and written communications
Confidentiality
Team player
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Frequent sitting, standing, and walking
Continuously required to move about the facility
Occasional domestic and international travel may be required between operations and to customers
