QUALITY ASSURANCE SUPERVISOR

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The Quality Assurance Supervisor at Cascade Fresh Juice ensures that all food products manufactured meet company standards and regulatory requirements for food safety, quality, and consistency. This role supervises QA personnel, supports continuous improvement efforts, and works cross-functionally with production, sanitation, and regulatory teams to maintain compliance with food safety regulations (FDA, USDA, BRC and/or SQF, etc.).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Supervise and lead QA technicians and staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management.

Monitor daily plant operations for compliance with GMPs, HACCP, and company quality standards.

Investigate and resolve quality complaints, non-conformances, and deviations from specifications.

Assist in maintaining and updating food safety programs including HACCP, SQF/BRC documentation, and other regulatory records.

Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure follow-up on corrective actions.

Conduct routine inspections and product sampling to monitor sanitation and product integrity.

Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to identify and address quality concerns.

Maintain documentation of quality assurance activities, inspections, and investigations.

Train employees on food safety and quality procedures.
