Description

We are looking for a skilled Medical Receptionist to join our team in San Francisco, California. This is a long-term contract position that offers the opportunity to work in a highly organized healthcare environment and contribute to excellent patient care. If you have strong organizational and customer service skills, along with proficiency in healthcare systems, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:

Greet patients warmly and ensure a welcoming atmosphere at the front desk.

Answer inbound calls promptly and assist with scheduling appointments or addressing inquiries.

Maintain patient charts and records using EHR systems, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.

Perform billing functions, including processing payments and verifying insurance details.

Coordinate with healthcare providers to streamline communication and scheduling.

Utilize software such as Allscripts, Cerner, Dentrix, and Eaglesoft to manage patient information.

Check patients in and out, ensuring all required documentation is completed.

Generate charts and graphs to support data analysis and reporting.

Assist with general administrative tasks, including managing emails and correspondence.

Ensure compliance with office policies and procedures to maintain operational efficiency.

Requirements

At least one year of customer service experience, preferably within the healthcare industry.

Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Knowledge of healthcare software such as Allscripts, Cerner, Dentrix, and Eaglesoft.

Proficiency in handling electronic health records (EHR) systems.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and staff.

Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

A detail-oriented approach with a commitment to providing excellent patient service.

Availability to start quickly and adapt to the team's schedule.
