Seeking Medical Assemblers to Join Our Team

$23/hr+ Working in a Cleanroom

Job Description

This position supports the daily operations of tissue sewing for heart valve assembly. As a member of the Operations team, you will play a crucial role in achieving upcoming clinical milestones, with significant opportunities for growth. You will be involved in building valves to support clinical trials and research and development.

Responsibilities

Sew tissue for heart valve assembly in a cleanroom environment.

Ensure finished product quality and compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

Prioritize work by sequencing and timing tasks based on precedence and importance.

Accurately handle and maneuver small components and parts.

Follow gowning procedures for cleanroom entry and exit.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date job documentation for operations and functions.

Utilize electronic data collection systems and computer software packages.

Work independently and maintain focus with minimal supervision.

Assist in ensuring cleanrooms meet standards by following appropriate cleaning procedures.

Essential Skills

Experience in medical device manufacturing.

Ability to read, comprehend, and follow written procedures.

Proficiency in basic math functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Knowledge of and ability to follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

Understanding of electronic data collection systems and computer software.

Ability to use microscopes.

2+ years sewing experience with heart valves, or 1 year experience

4+ years working in a cleanroom environment.

Work Environment

Work in a cleanroom environment focused on sewing valves and tissues. The role requires adherence to gowning procedures and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and precision.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $29.00/hr.
