Weyerhaeuser Lumber mill in Raymond, WA is seeking motivated and reliable individuals to join our team as Entry-Level Production Workers at our local dimensional lumber sawmill. This is a bargaining unit position in the International Assn. of Machinists and Aerospace Workers, Woodworkers Local Lodge W130.
Responsibilities:
Follow all safety protocols and procedures.
Perform cleanup activities such as sweeping, shoveling debris and operating air hose.
Operate basic machinery and equipment.
Perform quality checks to ensure products meet specifications.
Perform safety, quality, and process reliability improvements.
Actively participate in the team-based work environment.
Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals.
Multi-skill capability.
Demonstrate a desire to achieve.
High school diploma or GED.
Willingness and ability to work all shifts and wear required personal protective equipment.
Stable documented work history.
Demonstrated commitment to safety.
Positive attitude and good work ethic.
Ability to do demanding work (lift up to fifty pounds).
Willingness to work in a fast-paced, industrial environment.

Prior manufacturing experience is preferred.

Compensation:Your wages and benefits are set by the labor agreement between Weyerhaeuser and the union representing employees at this work site. We are targeting a pay range of$25.540 per hourbased on your level of skills, qualifications and experience.
