You will be the Manufacturing Associate Manager for our team in Grand Prairie, TX, responsible for overseeing the mechanical manufacturing quality, cost, and schedule for Dallas make hardware. Our team is dedicated to delivering high-quality products while driving continuous process improvements and ensuring compliance with regulations.
As the Manufacturing Associate Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of manufacturing professionals to achieve exceptional results in quality, cost, and schedule. You will drive continuous process improvements, manage design manufacturing processes, and oversee the arrangement of machines and equipment to ensure the most efficient and productive layout. You will also work closely with cross-functional teams, including Process Engineering, Quality Engineering, and Industrial Engineering, to ensure seamless execution of production plans.

Chairing the Cause and Correction Action Board to drive continuous process improvements

Managing design manufacturing processes, procedures, and production layouts

Coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection, and training, as well as performance assessment and recognition/disciplinary actions

Overseeing the arrangement of machines and equipment to ensure the most efficient and productive layout

Collaborating with Process Engineering Manager to monitor design sequence of operations and specifics procedures for fabrication of tools and equipment

Managing the adaptation of machine or equipment design to factory and production conditions

Coordinating with Quality Engineering Manager to incorporate inspection and test requirements into the production plan

Overseeing the performance of machinery, equipment, and tools through preventative maintenance

Driving corrective action of problems and deficiencies to ensure product quality

Basic Qualifications:

Leadership experience in manufacturing environment

Ability to create and utilize metrics to drive business performance

Understanding and experience with collective bargaining agreements and working in a union environment

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
