For more information, visit www.gf.com.Summary of Role:GlobalFoundries is seeking an experienced and energetic cost accounting professional to join our team. In this position, you will be responsible for overseeing and analyzing company product cost and inventory data with a goal of providing actionable insights and recommendations to company leadership.Essential Responsibilities:Develop and maintain cost accounting system, documentation, and recordsSetting standard costs of manufactured goodsReview costs for inventoryAnalyze and recommend costs and cost savingsParticipate in period close activities related to inventory and cost of goods soldComply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) for financial statementsPrepare documents and interpret financial information regarding cost improvements for managers, executives, and C-Suite executivesMaintain company accounting procedures and processesPresent cost estimates and budgetsCompile documentation on company production unit cost standardsAssist in audits and general ledger preparationOther Responsibilities:Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business with an emphasis in accounting, or a related field3-5 years of previous finance, accounting, or data analytics experiencePreferred Qualifications:Strong financial analysis skillsExperience setting standard costs of manufactured goodsExperience with Oracle EBS suite and SAPExcellent computer skills; experience in accounting software, Microsoft Office Suite including Power Bi, and knowledge of Sequential Query Language (SQL)Knowledge of accounting best practices, laws, standards, and state/national regulations and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)Excellent written and verbal communication skillsAccurate and precise attention to detailAbility to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficientlyExpected Salary Range$66,800.00 - $120,700.00The exact Salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience and location.If you need a reasonable accommodation for any part of the employment process, please contact us by email at usaccommodations@gf.com and let us know the nature of your request and your contact information.
