About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking an individual to fill a CIB Trade Finance Inside Sales position (Senior Credit Product Portfolio Specialist.) This individual is responsible for supporting the trade finance sales team by identifying business opportunities, engaging with existing and prospective clients, and coordinating internal processes to drive revenue growth. This role focuses on lead generation, client outreach, pipeline management, and pre-sales support for trade finance products, including letters of credit, guarantees, documentary collections, and supply chain finance.
In this role, you will:
Proactively identify and qualify trade finance leads through outbound calls, emails, referrals, and CRM tools
Provide continued support to existing clients, bridging the gap between clients and operations
Expand existing book of business by cross-sell of additional GRT solutions
Develops a strong working knowledge of trade finance products including:
Letters of Credit
Standby LCs and Guarantees
Documentary Collections
Supply Chain Finance
Receivables Finance
Collaborate with RM's, Trade Product, Credit, Legal and Operations teams to support deal structuring and onboarding
Uphold high compliance standards, including AML/KYC awareness
Lead or participate in building and maintaining effective relationships with existing clients within their products or functional area, including sharing relevant information with coverage partners
Review and analyze moderately complex business, operational, or technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors
Independently review and analyze moderately complex client portfolios or partner with senior peers on more complex portfolios for key issues related to cash flow, liquidity, leverage, working capital, debt coverage, collateral and enterprise value analysis, and repayment sources, including for use in periodic reviews as well as interim underwriting memoranda
Partner with coverage teams within the @context of individual deals and client relationships to understand clients' businesses, strategic objectives, operational priorities, and financial positions to identify and execute on opportunities for modifications, renewals, and refinancings
Perform regular portfolio reviews to manage risk and lead problem loan resolutions, where applicable
Collaborate and consult with peers and functional partners to resolve client servicing requests and inquiries related to their product
Independently resolve moderately complex situations while developing a sound understanding of policies, procedures, and compliance requirements to meet business objectives and partner with senior peers for more complex issues
Partner with product management functional partners to provide feedback on evolving market needs to enable the innovation, design, and delivery of credit solutions more effectively
Contribute to large-scale planning related to a given product and/or specialty's business objectives
Serve as a mentor for lower level staff
Required Qualifications:
4+ years of secured or specialized lending relationship management or portfolio management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in finance, Business, Economics, or a related fields
Strong understanding of trade finance instruments and the end-to-end transaction process
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
Familiarity with large corporate client-segments, across all verticals: Industrials, TMT, Healthcare, C&R, Energy and Commodities
Experience using CRM tools for pipeline tracking and client outreach
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Analytical mindset; able to interpret data to support sales strategies
Team player with a collaborative approach to working with relationship managers, product, and operations.
