Provide leadership and expertise around strategic priorities and credit process for the Wholesale Credit Delivery team. Engage portfolio management, loan operations, compliance, audit, and technology to help identify new and recurring risks related to process. Facilitate effective communication and training to the Credit organization related to process and ecosystem changes. Support business strategy and lead execution of initiatives for the aligned business under Wholesale Credit Delivery (i.e., CRE).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Partner with WCD business leader to execute on strategic priorities from recommendation to execution and BAU transition. This may include:
Leading the development of and presenting recommendations to address strategic business needs.
Performing qualitative and quantitative analyses (e.g., benchmarks, industry trends, internal operating and financial data) to support strategic rationale and measure results.
Leading cross-functional teams to clarify execution tactics and plans to achieve strategic goals.
Facilitating and driving project meetings with senior business leaders and client, product, business partner SMEs.
Strong understanding of Credit Delivery credit origination and underwriting process including but not limited to procedures, loan closing activities, file organization and tickler management.
Subject Matter Expert participating in strategic planning exercises to represent the needs of Wholesale credit Delivery for the business aligned to this individual.
Serve as a Liaison between and engage with Portfolio Management, Loan Operations, Compliance, Audit and Technology. Identifies new and recurring risks related to process and adherence to regulatory, audit or policy requirements and in some cases is responsible for resolving those issues.
Contribute to and manage special projects as needed including but not limited to audit/credit review remediations. Provides support to Portfolio Management teams on risk reviews, internal and external audits.
Develop and deliver communication to the PM organization related to credit process and ecosystem changes.
Lead implementation strategy for new processes and procedures for Credit Delivery. Ensure proper PM involvement with process development and enablement. Effectively partner with Wholesale Credit Delivery Project Management and Enablement teams to ensure effective execution on projects transitioned to BAU state. Actively identify and elevate system enhancement and process improvement ideas.
Develop training to ensure teammates are prepared to adapt to credit process and ecosystem changes.
On an ongoing basis, identify opportunities and develop initiatives to accelerate performance against strategic goals and objectives.
Lead cross-functional teams to clarify execution tactics and plans to achieve strategic goals.
Serve as a leader in WCD Enablement, developing and guiding less tenured teammates
May manage a team.
Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 10+ years of experience in underwriting, portfolio administration, commercial loan credit decision making and previous management experience.
Subject Matter Expert level understanding of accounting and finance, financial statement and cash flow analysis. Mastery level proficiency with MS Office Desktop applications. Strong interpersonal skills and solid written/verbal communication are essential.
Preferred Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in underwriting, portfolio administration, commercial loan credit decision-making, and/or commercial credit operations. Can include experience in Commercial Banking such as Commercial Real Estate, Commercial C&I, Commercial Investment Banking and/or Wealth.
Strong knowledge and experience in strategic planning and execution, including creating and executing comprehensive plans from recommendations to BAU implementation.
Proven ability to collaborate across organizational lines and matrixed environments
Ability to think strategically while delivering tactically
Ability to translate and present complex data in a manner that educates, enhances understanding, and influences decisions
Advanced skills in data visualization and storytelling
Deep knowledge of wholesale banking including corporate, commercial, and payments
Strong executive presence and communication skills
Sense of urgency and ability to multi-task and manage competing projects in a deadline-driven environment
