Delta Vacations, a Delta Air Lines company, is seeking a Sr. Finance Product Owner. Responsible for the planning and execution of Finance and cross-divisional initiatives that have Finance dependency to ensure business and technical alignment in sync with the overall Delta Vacations strategic roadmap. Partner internally and across the organization to ensure divisional projects are properly managed from ideation to production, including defining, iterating, prioritizing, socializing and testing. This role will join the Finance and Accounting team, reporting directly to the VP, Finance.
HOW YOU WILL HELP US DELIVER EXPERIENCES THAT MATTER (OVERVIEW & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES)
In this function, you will be responsible for managing both division specific initiatives as well as supporting cross-divisional needs, ensuring priorities are in alignment with the corporate technical roadmap. You'll support innovation and execution of Finance product/technical roadmap, including end-to-end launch of solutions across tax, payment, Enterprise Resource Planning, and daily operational systems. You will also implement Lead Robotic Process Automation opportunities throughout Delta Vacations organization to unlock efficiencies, in partnership with Delta Robotic Process Automation team and business units. You'll also provide business and technical guidance on Finance changes/developments across impacted areas of the organization and project documentation consisting of a collection of documents including product epic, feature, requirement, and acceptance criteria and lead/support testing as needed.

WHAT ELSE WILL YOU BE DOING (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)
Coordinates any associated training materials or documentation related to project/product launches.
Provide project impact analysis to assess any potential effects on other Finance related business rules, processes and products.
Lead the product functional design process based on a keen knowledge of finance process and technology.
Work in an Agile environment and continuously reviews the business needs, refines priorities, outlines key milestones and deliverables, and identifies opportunities and risks.
Manage other Agile disciplines not limited to the sprint backlog for assigned products, daily stand-ups and balancing the requirements of stakeholders as well as other ad hoc needs.
Closely coordinate with other DLV Product Owners and the Commercial Innovation team to develop and apply consistent processes and procedures across the organization.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

POSITION TYPE/STANDARD SCHEDULE
Full-Time, Monday through Friday; 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend may be required as job duties demand.
TRAVEL
Domestic travel may be required to fulfill assigned responsibilities.
SALARY
$53,072 - $89,513 annually

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)
Candidates for this position may have a Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or equivalent work experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Two years of experience working in Agile environment or project management with a strong track record of balancing multiple initiatives and producing results.
Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.
Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.

Experience working in travel or related fields.
Experience working in finance or related fields.
Versatile, broad airline/tour/hospitality background.
Strong PC skills including MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
