Quantitative Strategy Analyst

Responsible for serving as a vital link between corporate information technology capacity and corporate business objectives by analyzing the effects of decision platform, marketing, modeling, and credit strategy on consumer loan performance; use mathematics, statistics, forecasting methods, machine learning, and programming languages to deliver effective business analysis results for projects; communicate analytical results and recommendations to management in support of business systems and objectives; deliver deep analytical insights on business performance to monitor and maintain the strong performance of corporate existing consumer loan portfolios; work closely with a team of data scientists to leverage machine learning models to drive business performance; lead analytical projects to optimize financial product design and credit policy; drive strategic insights to deliver business value; utilize and apply knowledge of tactical problem-solving, R programming, Python, SQL, quantitative data analysis, financial product design/testing procedures, credit risk analysis, capital budgeting, predictive analytics, statistical analysis, financial modeling, pricing analytics, and data management/visualization techniques to perform duties; coordinate with data and marketing vendors to achieve specific business objectives; coordinate across business functions to maximize value for corporate customers and stakeholders; collaborate across various levels and roles of the corporate team, consultants, and vendors; and drive future testing, learning, and enhancements to expand and optimize corporate lending business. Location: 904 Mainstreet, Suite #300, Hopkins, Minnesota, 55343; Salary: $75,000 per year (standard company benefits apply); Education: Masters Business Analytics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, or in a related field of study (will accept equivalent foreign degree); Training: None; Experience: Two (2) years in the position above, as a Quantitative Data Analyst, as a Financial Analyst, as a Business Analyst, or in a related occupation; Other Requirements: Experience must include two (2) years use of all the following: R programming, Python, SQL, quantitative data analysis, financial product design/testing procedures, credit risk analysis, capital budgeting, predictive analytics, statistical analysis, financial modeling, pricing analytics, and data management/visualization techniques. Will also accept any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience.
