Responsibilities:

Follow established procedures and guidelines to receive, handle, store, record, and dispatch goods in a store or warehouse.

Receive incoming goods; check for damage and for discrepancies between goods and invoices.

Accurately sort, label, and store goods; arrange storage to optimize warehouse space.

Pick, pack, and dispatch outgoing goods according to written or verbal requests or orders.

Enter data into a database or other computerized system to maintain up-to-date stock records; retrieve stored information to respond to enquiries (for example on inventory levels or delivery schedules.)

Perform other routine clerical activities according to the organization's established procedures. These activities may include answering telephones; updating stock cards and inventory records; and completing receipt, transfer, delivery, and dispatch forms.

Operate forklifts or other warehouse machinery.

Requirements:

High school diploma/GED

0-3 years related experience

Warehouse experience

Order picking experience

Distribution experience

Scan gun experience

Responsabilidades:

Seguir los procedimientos y directrices establecidos para recibir, manipular, almacenar, registrar y despachar mercancías en una tienda o almacén.

Recibir la mercancía entrante; verificar si hay daños o discrepancias entre la mercancía y las facturas.

Clasificar, etiquetar y almacenar la mercancía con precisión; organizar el almacenamiento para optimizar el espacio del almacén.

Recoger, empacar y despachar la mercancía saliente según solicitudes u órdenes escritas o verbales.

Introducir datos en una base de datos u otro sistema informático para mantener registros de existencias actualizados; recuperar la información almacenada para responder consultas (por ejemplo, sobre niveles de inventario o calendarios de entrega).

Realizar otras actividades administrativas rutinarias según los procedimientos establecidos de la organización. Estas actividades pueden incluir contestar llamadas telefónicas; actualizar las tarjetas de existencias y los registros de inventario; y completar formularios de recepción, transferencia, entrega y despacho.

Operar montacargas u otra maquinaria del almacén.

Requisitos:

Diploma de bachillerato/GED

De 0 a 3 años de experiencia relacionada

Experiencia en almacén

Experiencia en preparación de pedidos

Experiencia en distribución

Experiencia con escáneres
