Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to join our team in Camden, New Jersey. In this long-term contract position, you will play a key role in managing financial operations and ensuring the accuracy of accounting records. This opportunity is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is committed to excellence in financial processes.

Responsibilities:

Process and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with accuracy and efficiency.

Utilize accounting software systems, including ERP platforms, to maintain and update financial records.

Conduct audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.

Collaborate with team members to solve complex problems and streamline accounting workflows.

Work independently to meet deadlines while contributing to team goals.

Handle financial data entry and reporting using tools such as ADP, Ceridian, and Concur.

Adapt quickly to changes and provide solutions in a fast-paced work environment.

Assist in the preparation and review of budgets and financial statements.

Maintain organized records and ensure timely reconciliation of accounts.

Support the organization's commitment to its mission through accurate financial management. Requirements - Proficiency in accounting functions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.

Experience with accounting software systems, such as ERP platforms and Concur.

Knowledge of financial services tools like ADP and Ceridian.

Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively.

Ability to problem-solve independently and collaborate within a diverse team.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for working with various stakeholders.

Quick learning ability and responsiveness to constructive feedback.

Familiarity with auditing processes and financial compliance standards.
