Job Title: Medical Assistant

Responsibilities

Assist the provider in care for patients.

Perform general medical assisting duties and procedures.

Handle phlebotomy tasks and ensure accurate lab work.

Deliver exceptional customer service to patients.

Maintain knowledge of medical terminology and dermatological procedures.

Manage patient flow efficiently, supporting the doctor in a high-volume setting.

Essential Skills

2+ years of medical assisting experience.

Proficiency in phlebotomy.

Strong understanding of medical terminology.

Excellent customer service skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Dermatology experience is a plus but not required.

Certification in medical assisting is preferred but not mandatory.

Experience in a high-volume environment is beneficial.

Work Environment

The doctor maintains a fast-paced and busy schedule. Working hours are Monday and Thursday from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Tuesday and Friday from 7:30 AM to 2:00 PM, and a half-day on Wednesday. The first Saturday of every month requires work from 7:30 AM to 2:00 PM, with the preceding Friday off.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
