Customer Service Representative

Description We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our team on a contract basis in Cincinnati, Ohio. In this role, you will serve as a vital point of contact for customers, ensuring their inquiries and orders are handled efficiently and accurately. Responsibilities:

Prepare and edit bids and sales orders with precision, ensuring all fields are accurate and relevant details are included.

Research pricing information and either provide standard pricing or escalate non-standard requests to the appropriate sales representative.

Generate order confirmations and follow up with customers for acknowledgment of any changes.

Create daily reports related to orders and ensure timely submission.

Collaborate effectively with departments such as manufacturing, sales, shipping, receiving, and accounting to guarantee customer satisfaction.

Address customer inquiries promptly, offering solutions and updates regarding their orders.

Stay informed about product updates and developments to better assist customers and improve service.

Maintain organized records of customer files and order details for easy access and reference.

Participate in required meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.

Uphold company standards and practices at all times while performing duties. Requirements - Proven experience in answering inbound calls and providing exceptional customer service.

Familiarity with call center operations and handling both inbound and outbound calls.

Proficiency in data entry and managing email correspondence efficiently.

Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.

Experience in order entry and scheduling appointments.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
