Job Description:
This job is responsible for serving as a finance partner to provide operational support for ~400 ForecastConnect end users. Key responsibilities include day to day managing of the 'help desk' function of ForecastConnect, validation of inbound data processes, delivery of ongoing platform enhancements and performing application maintenance.
The End-to-End Forecasting team is part of the Strategic Finance and Expense Management group within the CFO organization. Our primary focus includes ongoing development of the application, including writing business requirements, testing, deployment, end user training, documentation, and control in addition to ongoing application support.
Responsibilities:
The teammate in this role will be responsible for ongoing development of the application in addition to application support. This will include responsibilities such as:
Coordinating with tech partners and downstream applications for both inbound and outbound data.
Proactive communicating/partnering with line of business Forecast users and other supporting groups.
When needed, troubleshoot and identify root cause of data breaks / gaps
Proactively searching for opportunities to automate or address key functions and eliminate unnecessary work.
Discuss on the same level, use cases and requirements with plan and forecast lines of business as well as design with technology.
Draft business requirements and perform testing, deployment of application changes.
Train application users and author training materials to aid in end user support and onboarding.
Work with end users to triage issues and recommend process and / or application changes where applicable.
Monitor the "help desk" and address Forecast End user queries.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years' experience with financial planning, application support and change management.
Understanding of application change cycles to draft and execute testing and release validations.
Critical thinking to perform and action data control breaks.
Expertise on GL Financial Data (actuals and Forecast)
Understanding of RDR financial and HR data including IMS worker data
Understanding of Essbase, EPM and BPC Plan and Forecast
Proficiency in MS Office including PowerPoint and Excel including formulas.
Strong communication, organization, presentation, and leadership skills to communicate with on and offshore teammates.
Analytical Abilities / Financial Acumen - Systematic application of a combination of inductive and deductive reasoning to examine information, interpret results and arrive at well-founded logical conclusions.
Desired Qualifications:
Experience with Tableau dashboard design and Alteryx workflows.
Innovative team player who can generate new and creative ideas to complex problems.
Working knowledge of Bank of America Expense / Revenue Forecast processes
