Food Manufacturing Company Urgently Hiring for a Warehouse Lead Position in Lodi, NJ on First Shift Paying $26.30/hour in Lodi, NJ

Food and beverage in a manufacturing environment experience is a plus! GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) Experience Needed!

Location: Lodi, NJ

Pay: $26.30/hour ; Overtime: $39.45/hour

Shift: 6am-3:00pm (Monday-Friday)

Type of Position: Permanent (Paid Time Off, Holiday Pay, Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, etc. provided)

Job Description

Lead and direct the warehouse operations team in managing the receiving, put away, production line support of raw materials, and the shipping of finished goods inventory. Ensure the packaging and processing departments are efficiently furnished with dry supplies by directing forklift operators for staging and delivery tasks.

Responsibilities

Assign daily tasks to all warehouse workers.

Keep track of general warehouse supplies and report to the supervisor when supplies are needed.

Support production department when necessary.

Retrieve data from ASN, verify and adjust as necessary, and create license plates for each incoming pallet of product.

Unload dry supplies from carriers and place license plates on each pallet.

Store and stack pallets of dry and frozen ingredients, dry supplies, and chemicals in their assigned areas.

Adhere to the FIFO (First In, First Out) methodology for storing and shipping products.

Sweep and clean empty aisles before storing new incoming materials.

Ensure all shipping and receiving documentation is accurate and report any issues immediately.

Complete 100% of shipped orders daily.

Check for new incoming orders and verify appointment times.

Check for any unscheduled receiving and deliveries.

Check production schedule before staging materials to satisfy production requirements.

Lift, stack, and carry sacks and cases of dry supplies as needed.

Inspect supplies for quality and quantity before delivery.

Maintain inventory in staging areas and deliver supplies to production lines as requested.

Accurately record inventory using WMS tracking system.

Sort and stack empty pallets for return and resale.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in operating a forklift.

Ability to bend and lift 5 to 30 lbs throughout the shift.

Capability to stand throughout the shift.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Work in both cold and warm environments.

Wear appropriate PPE for tasks.

Follow GMP requirements (uniform, hairnet, etc.).

Ability to climb ladders and stairs.

Reaching abilities for extending arms in any direction.

Knowledge of safety, quality, GMPs, and Code of Conduct policies.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $54704.00 - $54704.00/yr.
