Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to manage and oversee financial processes with precision and efficiency. This role requires a strong background in accounting and expertise in financial reporting, ensuring compliance with established regulations and standards.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

Manage general ledger activities, including reconciliations and adjustments.

Oversee month-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.

Record and review journal entries to maintain accurate financial data.

Utilize Yardi software to streamline property accounting operations.

Conduct detailed financial analyses to support strategic decision-making.

Collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies and improve processes.

Maintain and update accounting records using advanced Microsoft Excel functions.

Ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements in all accounting practices.

Requirements

Proven experience in general ledger accounting, with a thorough understanding of related practices.

Strong knowledge of general ledger functions and financial statement preparation.

Expertise in month-end close procedures and managing tight deadlines.

Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.

Ability to prepare and analyze journal entries with attention to detail.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret financial data.

Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
