Description We are looking for an experienced Sr. Accountant to join our team on a contract basis in Campbell, California. This role is ideal for someone who excels in financial reconciliation and reporting. You will play a key part in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records while contributing to month-end close processes.

Responsibilities:

Perform detailed account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial standards.

Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies promptly.

Handle bank reconciliations to maintain consistency across financial records.

Manage general ledger activities, including posting journal entries and reviewing transactions.

Assist in preparing and completing month-end close processes efficiently and accurately.

Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel functions to analyze financial data and create reports.

Work with various ERP systems, such as NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP, to maintain and update financial records.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support audits and improve financial reporting processes.

Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements.

Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to enhance efficiency. Requirements - Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or related financial roles.

Strong expertise in account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and bank reconciliations.

Proficiency in using ERP systems, including NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP.

Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting.

Solid understanding of general ledger management and journal entry processes.

Experience with month-end close procedures and ensuring timely completion.

Excellent attention to detail and ability to resolve discrepancies effectively.

Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams.
