Farnsworth Group is seeking an OSP Project Manager in one of the below posting locations . Qualified candidates will work with our Energy & Utility Group as a part of the Telecommunications Team in the planning, drafting, design, permitting and construction administration of telecommunications and utility projects.

Posting Locations for this role: Lisle, IL; Frisco, TX; or St. Louis, MO

Job Activities:

Manage client relationships and projects

Support development of proposals - including project scope, schedule and budget

Complete design and posting of telecommunications projects

Review projects for accuracy, quality, and adherence to client specifications

Plan and oversee work production to meet project deadlines and budgets

Oversee work completed by technical and professional production staff

Provide direction and support for permit plans and work prints drafted in AutoCAD, MicroStation, Bluebeam, etc.

Provide office support for site visits and participate in site visits which may include overnight travel

Specific Requirements:

Minimum of 4 years of OSP design experience

Experience in all aspects of Legal Mandate, IFP, Fiber Overbuild, FTTH, or LightGIG projects - including field data gathering, design and permitting

Positive work ethic and excellent communication skills

Ability to effectively manage time while working on several projects concurrently whether in the office or field/remotely

Desired Skills:

Supervisory experience in OSP engineering design or construction

Experience in surveying or utility locating

Experience with AutoCAD or Microstation

Bachelor's or Associate degree a plus

Degree in Engineering or related field a plus

Salary Range: $85,000 - $120,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity)
