Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team in Phelps, New York. In this position, you will play a pivotal role in managing essential financial operations, ensuring accuracy in records, and supporting the organization's overall fiscal health. If you have strong organizational skills and a passion for numbers, this opportunity is perfect for you.

Responsibilities:

Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial records.

Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes efficiently.

Conduct bank reconciliations to maintain up-to-date transaction records.

Oversee bookkeeping tasks, including maintaining general ledgers.

Input and verify financial data with precision and attention to detail.

Utilize Microsoft Excel to create and manage financial reports.

Handle payroll processing and ensure timely employee payments.

Assist with month-end close activities to finalize financial statements.

Operate QuickBooks to track and manage financial activities.

Collaborate with team members to improve financial workflows. Requirements - Proven experience in account reconciliation and financial record management.

Proficiency in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

Strong knowledge of bank reconciliations and general bookkeeping practices.

Skilled in data entry with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.

Advanced capabilities in Microsoft Excel for financial reporting.

Familiarity with month-end close procedures and payroll systems.

Hands-on experience with QuickBooks software.

Excellent organizational and communication skills to collaborate effectively.
