In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Expand sales nationally (via promotional activity, merchandising initiatives, etc.) and to meet the stated goals for Emerson Professional Tools.
Cultivate strong functional relationships with all levels of customer management to ensure that national programs, policies, and store plans are implemented effectively.
Consistently meet with Department Merchant and any Field Support Teams to facilitate growth and seek opportunities.
Develop and communicate strategic and tactical plans to ensure detailed execution of programs.
Extensively use reporting systems to discover and document performance. Analyze and lead overall business. Use data to understand reasons for trend changes in sales/shipments.
Forecast product need to meet POS demand. Partnering with internal departments and customer inventory departments to support customer needs.
Participate in any requested regional trainings/contractor events/trade shows as required to improve Emerson brands exposure. May include a few weekend shows.
Provide market intelligence for internal and external customers. This includes price shops, promotional space, cross-merchandising opportunities, and competitive activities.

For This Role, You Will Need:
Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Business, Marketing, Industrial Distribution, or other relevant fields; OR minimum of three (3) years relevant experience instead of a Bachelor's Degree
Demonstrated success in formulating, communicating, executing, & measuring a Business Plan to deliver incremental sales growth
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Excellent organization, time & sales leadership skills
Able to gain insights and present them from reporting and analysis
Developing and handling a monthly/yearly sales forecast
A consistent track record and successful history of achieving goals and sales targets
Attending trade shows and set up displays
Building & monitoring merchandising displays
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficiency in MS Excel & PowerPoint; CRM Application experience a plus.
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
Experience with home improvement retail or other related retail experience required. Experience with co-op hardware chains a plus.
