Robert Half has partnered with a dynamic and growing multi location retail company in seeking an experienced Accounting Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-funded organization with a strong leadership team and ambitious growth plans. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and passionate about process improvement and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and month-end close.

Supervise and mentor accounting staff, providing leadership and professional development.

Prepare and review monthly financial statements and management reports.

Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal financial policies and procedures.

Manage audits, bank reconciliations, and account analyses.

Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to support company-wide initiatives.

Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

Identify opportunities for efficiency and process improvements, especially within the ERP system.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required.

5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.

Experience in the hospitality industry strongly preferred.

Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains (GP) or a similar mid-to-large ERP system.

Strong understanding of GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting.

Excellent organizational, analytical, and leadership skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.

Work Environment:

This role is fully in-office to start (to ensure a smooth onboarding experience) and will transition to a hybrid schedule (3 days in office / 2 days remote) once established in the role. Office is located in a highly desirable area in south Denver with a great environment!

Requirements

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required.

5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.

Experience in the hospitality industry strongly preferred.
