We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team at a prominent security organization in Uniontown, Ohio. This contract-to-permanent opportunity offers the chance to play a key role in optimizing financial operations and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of accounts receivable functions.

Key Responsibilities:

Account Accuracy & Analysis: Audit and verify account discrepancies by gathering and analyzing relevant financial data (Source: Robert Half, "Accounts Receivable Specialist").

Deduction Resolution: Address unauthorized or invalid deductions, following established procedures to resolve issues promptly (Source: Robert Half, "Accounts Payable Specialist").

Client Negotiation: Collaborate directly with clients to reconcile and settle outstanding account balances professionally and effectively (Source: Robert Half, "Accounts Receivable Specialist").

Interdepartmental Collaboration: Serve as a liaison across key departments-Order Entry, Finance, Controllership, Cash Application, and Billing-to ensure seamless resolution of issues and accurate processing of accounts (Source: DFST2025 - Midyear Update.pdf).

Process Management: Execute cancellation requests, credits, and rebill submissions efficiently while adhering to organizational policies.

Confidentiality: Uphold the confidentiality and security of sensitive financial and organizational information at all times.

Dispute Resolution: Manage formal dispute resolution processes to foster client satisfaction and accelerate payment timelines (Source: Robert Half, "Payroll Specialist").

Procedure Compliance: Follow established accounts receivable policies and procedures diligently to maintain operational consistency.

Software Utilization: Leverage accounting software and tools to effectively track and manage account activity (Source: Robert Half, "Bookkeeper").

Root Cause Analysis: Analyze recurring discrepancies and implement targeted solutions to mitigate future issues.

Requirements - High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and V-lookup functions.

Strong verbal and written communication skills to negotiate and resolve client issues.

Solid understanding of general math and analytical skills for financial problem-solving.

Experience with financial software systems and accounts receivable processes.

Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial records.

Ability to identify root causes of discrepancies and implement effective solutions.

Minimum of 2 years' experience in an accounts receivable or related role.
